Not sure what to say?

I met judy in 1988 when the deli at Meijer on west Saginaw in lansing opened, she came and sat next to me at our first orientation. and that's when the shenanigans between her and I began!!!! she had a sense of humor and liked to pull pranks . at her brother johns house for a bonfire for the melon festival one time she invited me to go along, she was roasting a hotdog and was more than willing to roast me one and asking what fixings I wanted on it-------well I appreciated her thoughtfulness, until my first bite when it was loaded with fresh jalapeno peppers straight from johns garden nearby---when my daughters were going to the elementary school on verlinden avenue some kids were bullying one of them and around Halloween time her and I dressed up in full disguise and walked to the school just as it was getting out to observe the bullys following my daughter, so we followed them a ways and let karma do it's thing--no further bullying problem after that. we worked together for 13 years and we had our moments with each other but still in all we had some damn great memories and I have those to cherish----R.i.P. So sorry about the passing of your Mom. I'm so glad I stopped by, with Molly, earlier this summer and chatted with her. The ole' neighborhood will not be the same without her in it. Memories of my childhood will always include Mrs. Pazitka.

My condolences to all Judy's family. I was a neighbor for ten years and Judy was always kind, courteous, friendly, thoughtful and fun. I am glad that I was able to help as needed these past few months. Her presence on Shiawassee Street was always large with her home a place to discuss the goings on of the world; I will miss those discussions. I am sorry for your loss.

Judy was a great neighbor, and we will miss her. She had a good sense of humor, and always had time to chat with neighbors walking by the house. I really could count on her giving me a cup of sugar if I needed it. She was an avid animal lover. When she was in better health, she took good care of our cats when we were on vacations. She was a plant lover and a good gardener. We enjoyed giving each other perennials from our gardens. She told me never to say "Thank you" when someone gives you a plant, because it would be bad luck for the plant. So, when she gave me a plant, I would say, "I'm not going to say 'Thank you', and she would smile because I remembered her advice. It was sad to see Judy decline; her last years were difficult. It meant a lot to me that Mary called me and invited me to come over to say goodbye to Judy before she passed. I told Judy I loved her for being a great neighbor, an animal lover, and a plant lover. Judy taught Mary how to be a good neighbor, and I hope Mary will be our neighbor as long as we live here. With love, Dawn & Enrique
