Vivian Elizabeth King Rhodes "Miss Daisy", 84, a resident of Watson, LA, passed peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2016 at her home. Vivian loved working in her yard, going to Bluegrass festivals and listening to Bluegrass music. However, her true joy was spending time with her family. She was a loving lady who cared for so many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Live Oak United Methodist Church, on Sunday, Aug. 21, from 2 p.m. until service at 5 p.m., officiated by Rev. Mark Crosby. She is survived by her children Brenda and Bubbie Cowart; Janice and Clarence "Buggar" Sandefer; and John and Gaynelle Rhodes; grandchildren, Scotty Cowart, Mandy Erwin, Shane and Clint Sandefer, Shanna Ruiz, Desir'ee Shaidaee, and Logan Rhodes; 18 great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter; brother, Jimmy King; sister, Lillian Foster; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Milton Joseph Rhodes; loving companion of many years, Jon Lewis Neames, Sr.; infant son Melvin John Rhodes; parents, William and Alma Fugler King; grandson, John Jacady Rhodes; brother, W.M. Miss Daisey was one of my favorite people EVER! She would dance with me at the Bluegrass festivals. I met her when I was 14 years old. She also made my kids a Specail towel when they were born! Will
