William "Scott" Stewart, age 54, of Newark, DE, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family Monday, August 22, 2016. Scott's favorite past time was fixing up his Ram Pickup Truck. He enjoyed listening to classic rock music and target shooting. Scott loved celebrating the holidays - with the Fourth of July being his favorite. Jamaica was his favorite vacation spot. Most of all Scott was a family man who cherished his wife and children.
Scott is survived by his wife of 24 years, Deborah Stewart; 3 children: Hunter, Brandon, and Jacob; mother, Doris Stewart; sister, Sandy Travers (Ken); special cousin and brother of the heart, Jerry Frail; niece, Kristen; nephew, Brian; and great nephew, Nolan. He was preceded in death by his father, William Stewart.
A visitation will be held Monday, August 29, 2016, from 10-11 AM in the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Scott's life at 11 AM. Burial will be private. So sorry to hear about Scott. i worked with him in the lab at W L Gore. He was such a friendly guy, and he sure loved music. I recall how he would put on a playlist of songs during the day and bring a little fun and enjoyment to our lives. My sincere sympathy to his loved ones.

OMG, just found out about this today. I am truly sorry for their loss. I worked with Scott here at WLGore and what a husband and father he was. He doted on his wife Debbie and and talked about his sons all the time. We were very upset to have not heard about this and missed the services. My condolences to Debbie and family. What a great person Scott was. So very out going and always wanted to lend a hand if needed. Person such as him surely has a special place in heaven.
