John was a very special man. He was extremely intelligent and had answers to all my questions, I could count on that. He loved my mom with all his heart and for that I'm grateful. He allowed me the pleasure of tormenting him about OSU and reminding him how Michigan was going to lose again to The Buckeyes year after year! I love him and will miss him.

We are so saddened to hear the about the loss of John, he was an amazing man who loved life. I heard him say one time that when he was gone don't think he missed out on anything, he felt he had lived every part of his life to the very fullest, in his words "I have missed out on nothing". May God Bless his family and all those who loved him. He was special.
