William P. McEntee, age 63, of Brockton died September 13, 2016, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He was the son of the late Joseph P. and Elizabeth T. (Henry) McEntee. He was raised in Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School. He worked at Georges Cafe in Brockton for over 40 years. William was a kind, gentle affectionate man with a great sense of humor and was a great brother. He was a devout Catholic and his religion was his passion. He enjoyed reading and talking about it. He was a parishioner of the Chapel of our Savior in Brockton. William is survived by his sister, Mary Goodwin of Brockton; his nephew and nieces, Justin of Easton, Emily of West Bridgewater, Susan of Braintree and Meredith of Brockton; and his great-nieces, Lily, Lucy, Emma and Elizabeth. He also leaves his dear friend, Maria Joia of Brockton. Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Friday, 10-11 a.m. Following visitation will be a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
