Brian Cowell, 59, of Windsor Locks passed away on September 6, 2016. Brian was born April 25, 1957 and was an avid reader, history buff and sports fan. He graduated from Williston and Westfield State College and spent most of his career at UTC Aerospace Systems, serving as Operations Manager. Brian leaves behind: his children, Courtney Cowell of Palmer, MA and John "Jack" E. Cowell II of Agawam, MA; his girlfriend, Ann Magleora, and her children, TJ and Raelynn Voislow of Windsor Locks; his siblings Deb Brown of Amherst, MA, Jackie Cowell of Henniker, NH, Jenny Bourgeois of Wilbraham, MA, and Tom Cross of Plano, TX; and many beloved relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Margaret "Gay" (Campbell) Cross, John "Jack" E. Cowell, and Raymond R. Cross. Calling hours will be September 29 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00, at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks, CT. Donations may be made to the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association or the charity of your choice.
