Lois B. Bliss, 97, wife of the late Henry S. Bliss Sr. died October 7, 2016 at N.M.S. Health Care of Annapolis. Lois was born and raised in Annapolis. She was the daughter of the late Spencer and Annie Stevens; in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine Shephard, Bernie Smiddy, and Marie Bereck. Lois graduated from the Annapolis Senior High School. She worked as a key punch operator at the State Office Building. Lois was a member of the Eastport United Methodist Church. She is survived by her two children, Tamara B. Lesley and Henry S. Bliss Jr., and three grandchildren, Sherry Brown, Sonya Beard and Dawn Brown. She also is survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday October 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastport United Methodist Church 926 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403. In lieu of flowers donations in Lois's memory may be made to the Eastport UMC.
