MAYER FRIEDRICH "FRITZ" G.
Age 78, of Pittsburgh, PA, former husband of the late Ilga Mayer who retired to the Chicago area, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. He was born November 6, 1937, in Kronstadt, Transylvania. He was a proud member of the US Army Reserve and worked his whole life in the banking industry in which he retired from PNC's international banking division in Pittsburgh, PA in 2002. He is survived by his wife, Susan Mathieson Mayer; sons, Arthur, Friedrich "Fritz", Jr. (Terri), Christian (Loree) and Michael (Julie); eight grandchildren, Jordan, Avery, Abigail, Isabelle, Emma, Madelyn, Mason, Landon; and brother, Konrad. He will be deeply missed by all family, friends, colleagues that were part of his life. "Rest in peace, dad".
