Caragh L. D'Arcy, 32
WORCESTER - Caragh Lynne D'Arcy, 32, of Worcester, died Friday, October 14, 2016, at home.
Caragh was born in Worcester.
She leaves her father Edward A. D'Arcy, her mother Melinda J. Taylor and her husband James D. Taylor, her paternal grandparents, Edward K. and Margaret D'Arcy, her maternal grandmother, Patricia O'Brien, four sisters, Meaghan D'Arcy, Brianna D'Arcy, Ryanne D'Arcy and Kyleigh Taylor; and her most beloved nephew Braedyn ("Brady-Boy"). Caragh also leaves many dear aunts, uncles and cousins here at home and in Ireland. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfathers Jeffrey Cotter and Joseph O'Brien.
Caragh had also just lost her greatest companion, her dog Tori, whom she affectionately called Torina Ballerina.
Caragh graduated from St. Peter-Marian CCHS and Fitchburg State University.
She had been employed for many years with the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance.
Caragh was very proud of her Irish heritage. She wore the color green proudly.
Her favorite place was Kylemore Abbey in County Galway, Ireland, where she had recently traveled.
Caragh had a deep passion for animals and flowers.
Some of her fondest memories were with her teammates from Jesse Burkett Softball and her #6.
Above and beyond all else, the bond that Caragh shared with her sisters was like none other.
"There was only one time, and it was on her watch."
The funeral Mass will be Friday, October 21, at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Caragh's family suggests donations in her memory to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606.
The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.

My deepest condolences to the D'Arcy family, I worked with Caragh in the Springfield DUA office. She always wore a smile that would light up her face and make you smile too, no matter how bad your day was. Her light will continue to shine and she will always walk with you.

The picture you posted is a perfect example of the light that shone in Caragh. She was a beautiful, caring young woman, who brought joy with her smile every day.
As a professional, she was caring, compassionate, professional and and very effective at DUA. Those who were lucky enough to have her answer their calls received the highest level of customer service.
I cannot believe that she is no longer with us and extend my sincere sympathy to her family.

Very saddened by the loss of someone so young and someone who brought so much joy to people's lives..Caragh was a class act all the way and her joy was infectious. She was real and sincere and that unique quality is often lacking in others. She was a true blessing and I treasure all the times she made me laugh and smile on even the gloomiest of days. God Bless you Caragh and thank you for being a genuine, down to earth, tell it like it is friend. May you find peace and happiness forever.

Caragh, you lit up like an angel the night I first saw you. You always possessed such an energy that drew all near. Your heart was spread to any and everyone. Your laughter is like no other and you will live on through the most amazing memories. There wasn't a moment that did not involve you and you always made sure a moment did not pass without the ones you loved, involved. 15 years of having you in my life was more than a friendship through the good and bad. You loved like it was your job.
To all you girls, your sister is right beside you as she would have always been. Melinda, you were more to her than words could explain. Edward, and grandparents, she always wanted her best face forward as she never wanted you to worry for her and make you all so proud. She loved her family so much and her close circle of friends stayed just that.
An energy so powerful in a small package. That was Caragh D'Arcy. She touched so many lives with her vibrant light.
I pray for the enjoyable stories and memories to keep you all strong. She will always be right beside you and she is at most peace with her Tori, her center of her world. She was an amazing momma to her furbabies. An amazing friend and a reason for so much that has happened in all our lives.
Love you always "Koolaid"
God takes us at our time and leaves behind the ones that love us most. She above suited her role in this world yet there is a powerful plan for her in the golden light of God's hands.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
