Richard P. Wenzelberger
NEWCOMERSTOWN: Richard P. Wenzelberger, 72, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his home.
He was born Tuesday, March 7, 1944 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late Charles and Dorothy (Derringer) Wenzelberger. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran who served from June 14, 1968 until July 24, 1980. On December 5, 1970, he married Kathy (Zeigler) Wenzelberger, who died in 2008. He retired from the National Security Administration.
He is survived by his sister, Judith (George) Bates of Michigan.
He is preceded is death by his son, David Wenzelberger.
Services will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Rev. Bracken G. Foster officiating. Burial will take place in West Lawn Cemetery, Military graveside services will be conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard. A visitation will take place one prior to the service on Thursday at 10 a.m.
