Byron C. Stark was born on January 24, 1941 in Seminole, Texas to the late Frank and Vivian (Brumley) Stark and passed from this life on November 24, 2016 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 75.
After graduating from high school, Byron entered the United States Navy and served from 1959 to 1963 until he was honorably discharge. Byron worked in sales for US Foods until his retirement. He and his wife Johnnie moved to Bryan County in 2008 and made their home to enjoy their retirement. Byron was of the Baptist faith and he dearly loved the Lord, family and friends. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and in his young years hunting. Byron will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Byron is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Johnnie Stark of the home; children, Greg Stark and wife Rachel of Weatherford, TX, Pamela Bond of Oklahoma City, OK and Rodney Evans of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Hudson and Fletcher Stark, Bailey Tripp, Blair Bettis, Brandon Bond and wife Laci, Kayla Bone and husband Michael and Dillon Jovee; great grandchildren, Cameren, Carson, Brileigh, Jaxen and Ava; brother, Bruce Stark; sister, Pam Davis and husband Stanley and numerous extended family and friends.
Byron was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Vivian Stark and sister, Atlanta Rose.
Services to celebrate Byron's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Military Honors provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Pastor Jesse West will officiate. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
