From 2004 to 2007, we were volunteers at the community-access cable TV station in Louisville, CO. In producing a piece about local business, we interviewed Toba in her bookstore on Main St. in Louisville. Our time with her was simply delightful. Her energy and enthusiasm were captivating. Since then we'd run into each other occasionally in Boulder, most recently about a year ago. What a powerhouse she was! Our condolences on her passing.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Toba was a gift to anyone who met her. I don't know if you remember me, but I was Drew's age. Toba would have the whole class over in grade school to make candles and other things. May her memory be a blessing.

I was so sorry to hear of Toba's passing. I used to go to her bookstore on Murray Avenue, and she introduced me to her wonderful house painter, whom I used for years until he retired. Our deepest sympathy to her family.

Boys, I was deeply saddened to hear of your mothers passing. It was a toss up as to what she loved more; Joel and her boys or life itself but one thing is for sure...the world is less without her. She was good people. Uncle Gary
