Florine (Moser) Luginbuhl, 84, of Ellington, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was born in Rockville, CT on December 5, 1932 to the late Rudolph and Emma (Gottier) Moser. Florine was a lifelong Ellington and Tolland resident. She was married for 41 years to the late Emanuel Luginbuhl, until his passing in 1991. Florine was an artist who enjoyed painting and contributing to the Tolland County Art Association. She loved her family and everyone knew her as kind, giving and caring. Florine also enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Ellington. She is survived by her sons Kenneth Luginbuhl and his wife Kay, Keith Luginbuhl and his wife Linda, Brian Luginbuhl and his wife Cyndi, all of Ellington; her daughters Joanne Eleiott and her husband Richard, Carole Crohan and her husband Daniel, both of Tolland; her brothers Ben Moser and his wife Glenna, James Moser and his wife Jane, Roger Moser and his wife Joni, all of Ellington; her grandchildren Andrew Luginbuhl (Colleen), Naomi Walder (Brent), Zachary Eleiott (Pam), Annaliese Falkowski (Adam), Rachael Eleiott, Keith Luginbuhl II (Loreen), Luke Luginbuhl (April), Alisha Luginbuhl, Sean Crohan, Derek Crohan, Harmony Luginbuhl, Grace Luginbuhl, Miriam Luginbuhl, Sarah Luginbuhl, Faith Luginbuhl; her great grandchildren Emily, Kate, Rose, and Ashton Walder, Wade, Landon, and Anderson Luginbuhl, baby Jaxson Falkowski, Cory Brooks, Jordan, Russel, and Morgan Luginbuhl; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Aside from her parents Florine was also predeceased by her beloved husband Emanuel Luginbuhl, her brother Edward Moser and his wife Rene. Calling hours are being held on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 2 - 4 pm and 6 - 8 pm at the Ellington Apostolic Christian Church, 34 Middle Butcher Rd, Ellington, CT 06029. Funeral services are being held at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Ellington Apostolic Church with burial to follow at Ellington Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Florine's memory may be made to Longview Village, 34 Middle Butcher Road, Ellington, CT 06029. Ken & Kay: Florine was such a sweet lady. I enjoyed the work I did for her in the lake house. I'm sure she will be missed, but we know where she is, and reunited with those that have gone on before her.
