Janet Ann Justice
1937 - 2017
Janet Ann Justice, age 79, of Emmett, Idaho passed away peacefully Sunday, February 12, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 27, 1937 in Emmett, Idaho, to Clifford Mason and Florence Nadine (Parrish) Francis.
Janet was a feisty and beloved wife of 56 years, a loving mother of seven and a friend to many. She was a defender of those in need, a great listener, insightful giver of advice, and had a great saying which was "In this family, we are not halves, wholes or step, we are just family." She loved to cook, sew, embroider and crochet which she generously shared. Her greatest enjoyment and desire was to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Neal, children Dixie (Dirk) Soderling, Chris (Mike) Atwood, Denise (Donnie) Miller, Clifford Justice and Tammy Walters, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, sisters Doris Troutner, Jeanne Pollock and Carol Borisoff and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Angela, son Robert, son-in-law Ivan, grandchildren Shawn and Benjamin and her sister Wanda Rivers.
A special thanks to the staff at Horizon Home Health and Hospice, Laurel Keene, as well as many others for their love, care and compassion.
A celebration of Janet's life will be held in Emmett at Cold Mountain Creek Restaurant on February 18, 2017, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to a charity of your choice.
