Roland A. Maxwell
ZANESVILLE: Roland A. Maxwell, 86, of Zanesville, passed away March 22, 2017 at Zanesville Heath and Rehabilitation, surrounded by his family.
He was born February 10, 1931 in Zanesville, to the late Daniel Maxwell and Tina Howell Maxwell. He worked at Burnham Boiler and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Judy (Rick) Stemm of Hopewell, Jean Maxwell of Zanesville, Sherry (Jim) Bradley of South Zanesville, Ruth Holdcroft of Zanesville and Bruce (Julie) Maxwell of Newark; sister, Evelynn Leach; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Mae Maxwell; infant twins, Dale and Gale; son, Roland A. Maxwell II; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Bradley and Chad Holcroft; four brothers, four sisters, and son-in-law, Everet Holcroft Jr.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday March 24, 2017 at Zanesville Memorial Park, All family and friends are invited.
A social gathering will be held 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. following the conclusion of graveside services at Licking View School Booster Hall.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave. Zanesville, OH 43701.
