Gustav J. "Gus" Klebingot passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, in his home in Central, La., surrounded by his loving family. Born June 5, 1916, in Wilmerding, he was 100 years old. He was a native of Manor, Pa., a former resident of Melbourne, Fla., and resided in Baton Rouge and Central, La., for the last 29 years. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy, and son-in-law, Jim McCurry, of Central, La.; daughter, Donna, and son-in-law, Bill Woehler, of Export; grandchildren, Jim McCurry Jr. and wife, Deborah, of Clinton, La., Karen McCurry-Wright, of Central, La., Mike McCurry and wife, Wendy, of Kingwood, Texas, Richard Woehler and wife, Kelly, of New Market, Ala., and Ron Woehler, of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild due in August. Gustav was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, in 2010, and son, Gustav Jr., in 1986.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, March 24, 2017, at GREENOAKS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Gus was a true gentleman. We enjoyed his company at our weekly lunches. Our condolences to Cathy, Jim and the rest of the family.
