Tera was the best counselor there was! She helped look for my daughter for 5 days when she ran away and took her own time to do that! She was so non judgemental and alot of "her kids" looked up to her. As a friend she was always there no matter what. She will be greatly missed!

Undoubtedly a phenomenal counselor who embraced all the blessings of life and guided countless others on how to do the same. More so than heeding her call to be a true beacon of hope in the helping profession, Tera was a woman of her word. She'd set goals and there was no two ways about it, they would be achieved, and usually before her target date. She never backed down from a challenge. Her spark and determination to be a successful therapist led her to the top, and she didn't hesitate for a second to assist others in reaching their dreams too.
Tera was inspirational, charismatic, intuitive, optimistic, giving, loyal, uplifting, unique, loving, fun, a classy, sassy fashionable tend-setter, an advocate, a leader, the girlfriend everyone wanted, kind, and a friend and mentor to so many. And boy could she rock the beautiful, bright shades of lipstick with confidence and sparkle. She lit up the room she entered with her welcoming smile and her bubbly, tell-it-like-it-is humorous personality.
I will forever be grateful on how Tera unselfishly helped my sister through a dark time in life - - giving her hope, building her esteem, & making her laugh throughout the journey. That relationship was priceless to witness & Tera had a heart of gold. So selfless, strong, and empowering. We sat side-by-side in an all-day professional growth training and during breaks she had me laughing so hard with her on-point impressions and witty jokes. I'll never forget the family trip to Ocean City. Tera could sport a gorgeous tan with some sweet bling, jeweled sandals, cute, one-of-a-kind outfits, and of course, to complete her look, some rich, rosy lips. She was the life of the party and could make even a taxi ride become the highlight of an adventurous evening. Her giving spirit was unmatched. One evening at her home I simply commented on the adorable slippers she was wearing and the next moment she had placed them on my feet. She was just that type of person that found true joy and peace in making others happy.
Lashad, Sherry and RJ, and to all those whom been touched by Tera, be it by the grace of her smile, her lending you an ear to vent your frustrations, the hearty chuckle from her jokes, the friendship she provided to so many, and the pure love that poured from her heart, may you know that this loss of an angel that we were fortunate to know here on Earth, has been called to fulfill a bigger purpose. GOD makes no mistakes so I can only draw upon one conclusion on why our Sun was taken so soon, so suddenly. HE needs her to shine in HIS PARADISE, by HIS throne, on a much larger scale, a much bigger platform, to help numerous others from above. Yes, that is it...her work is not nearly done...in fact, it only just begun. So when you witness blessings right before your eyes -- a caterpillar evolving into that pretty butterfly, that baby bud blooming into a lovely red rose, or you feel unsettled but your sadness is overcome by a relaxed sense of "I got this, I CAN do this", and inner peace, well, that's Tera looking over you and out for you from the loving arms and protection of the Lord's presence. Indeed HE requires Tera for HIS master plan as HE recognizes beyond all others her genuine gifts, talents and qualities, HE knows her heart, and knows how best to use her to serve ALL mankind.
Missed so dearly, always remembered, NEVER forgotten...fly on Tera, wear your halo proudly, and continue to make miracles. ❤

I knew Tera since we were kids and in school. I got to know her even better after she became my daughters therapist. She spent a lot of time helping my daughter. We remained friends over the years. Tera was one of the realest and most compassionate person I know. Praying for all of her loved ones.
