Sorry for the loss of your dad. I know he loved his sons more than anything and even if he couldn't fix all the problems of the world .. he wanted to.
Never knew Jerry without a smile and I'm sure just like the rest of us he had plenty he could have frowned about but chose to be positive instead. He was a hardworking, down to earth human being who tried his best to make the best difference in this world by letting life change him in a positive way by knowing his struggles and his forever smile. He is in a place of no more struggles .. God bless you Jerry .. that smile will be missed. I'm sure there are more smiles in this world because of you .. you were an inspiration to many.

Jerry did far more than make only one person smile a day. He put a smile on the face of everyone he came across. I worked in King's mountain for a few years and loved to see him in my store all the time. He was always good for stories that would make you laugh and encouraging words if you were having a bad day. He was a true joy to be around and will be greatly missed.

One of Jerry's favorite bible verses that he shared with me was 1 Corinthians 13 :13 "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love..."
I think this was one of his favorite bc he tried his best to live by it. Jerry sprinkled a little faith, hope and love into to the lives of everyone he met. I am going to really miss my friend but am rejoicing that he is now with the lord. Sending lots of prayers and hugs for Jerry's sweet family and everyone hurting in his absence.
