Rickey Allen Sargent, 63, of Washington Court House, died Sunday, April 16, 2017 in Fayette County Memorial Hospital.
Born November 20, 1953 in Columbus; he was a son of Harley and Mildred Sue (Harsh) Sargent.
An avid hunter and fisherman; Rickey had been in blacktop most of his life working for Harsh's Blacktop and Chemcote.
Survivors include his wife Donna (Little) Sargent; children Cindy Little, Michelle (Brian) Bates, Jay Douglass, Scott (Kim) Sargent, Amy (Jody) Henaut, Shallyn (Jason) Tatman and Brandy (Kevin) Anthony; grandchildren Tony and Charles Peterman, Troy and Dallas Baker, Kyle, Kennedy and Keegan Bates, Xavier and Xander Sargent, Joseph, Autumn and Noah Helnautt, Ariel Raver, Davon Stokes and Kylie Anthony; great-grandchildren Owen, Cole, Emma, Phoenix and Xavier Peterman and Ayva Baker; sister Helen (Doug) Reed; brothers Donald (Amy) Sargent, Everett Sargent and Danny Sargent; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sandy Oren and grandchildren Shyann and Autumn Raine Baker and Baby Ray Peterman.
Per Rickey's wishes, he is to be cremated and no services will be observed.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, www.donate.ohiodiabetes.org.
