James G. Cooper

MOORE, SC-- James George Cooper, 77, passed away April 15, 2017 at his home.
A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Levi Jefferson and Bessie Hendrix Cooper, he was a U.S. Army and Navy Veteran, a retired salesman, a Mason and a Shriner.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Cooper Tippey (Chad) of Charleston and Julie Cooper Reeves of Gaffney; two sisters, Loree Brown of Inman and Ruby Williams of Candler, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Molly Catherine Tippey, Max Cooper Tippey and Jeffrey Kirk Reeves.
Mr. Cooper was predeceased by a son, George Jeffrey Cooper.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.
Visitation will be held 2:00-3:45 p.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at their respective homes.
