Dale Allen
Leicester - William Dale Allen, 58, of 104 Pennant Road, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the St Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Flint, MI, he had resided in Western NC for most of his life. He retired in 1993 following 20 years of service with the US Navy, where he had served during the Gulf War.
He was a son of Betty McFalls Allen of Sevierville, TN and the late Donald "Junior" Allen.
Surviving in addition to mother are his wife, Sherry Gregg Allen whom he married August 1, 1998; children, Brian, Andrea and Cindy Allen; step-sons, Derek and Steven Reed; brothers, Daniel and Carl Allen; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Allen's request, no services will be held.

Rest easy uncle dale you were a great a dedicated man to your family. You stood by me on the day i didnt think i cod stand ,thank you for holding me up when i couldnt hold my self up. Fly high with the angels. Tell my paw paw and my dad i love them.
