Whitaker, Mesha Renae,
42, of Frankfort, formerly of Shelbyville, KY, died on Wednesday, the 19th day of April, 2017, at her residence.
Born in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Patricia and Herbert Keith Turner, Sr. She was the former executive staff director of the Kentucky Parole Board.
Her survivors include her husband, John Lawrence Whitaker, Jr., of Frankfort, formerly of Lexington and Hazard; her daughters, Mya Nicole Rogers and Harley Cole Whitaker, both of Frankfort; her son, John Mason Whitaker of Frankfort; and her brothers, Keith Turner and Matthew Turner, both of Shelbyville.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, the 29th day of April, 2017, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville, with Reverend Michael Napier officiating. Visitation will follow the memorial service until 4 p.m., Saturday, 29 April 2017, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville, and online condolences may be expressed at www.halltaylorfuneralhomes.com

My heart is broken today as I learned of Mesha's journey to be with God. Mesha loved life and she especially loved her husband and her children. She was a joy to be around and always positive. I will truly miss this special lady.
