Phyllis Ann Holcomb
Lansing
Age 84, passed away May 16, 2017. She was born December 11, 1932, in Lansing, to the late Arthur/Otto and Caroline Detzler.
As a homemaker, Phyllis loved to take care of her family. She enjoyed baking, camping, and going fishing. She was also known to read a book and sit beside her husband while he hunted. She adored her grandkids and great-grandkids and she gave the best backrubs!
She is survived by her children: Randy (Tonya) Holcomb and Terry Holcomb; grandchildren: Adam Holcomb, Shanaya (Pablo) Solano, and Pamela Stid; great-grandchildren: Jaydon, Valentino, Aryanna, and Hunter; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Eugene "Gene" Holcomb, in 2016, and 9 siblings.
The funeral service for Phyllis Holcomb will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017, at the Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church, 301 W. Jolly Rd., Lansing, with the Rev. Tony A. Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Dear Randy and Terry
The sadness I feel for the both of you is sobering. I know there are no words I can say that will take away your pain. I am praying that our Precious JESUS will send peace and comfort to you. But the bright side is you will see again when our Jesus calls us home. I am so sorry I cannot be there because of financel restrictions. but know i am there in heart just as i was with your daddy. wish i knew this was available then. Love you both
