Strzepek, Stanley
age 70 of Elmira, Stanley Robert Strzepek passed away on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 at Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where he was a long term resident due to illness. He was born on Oct. 5, 1946 in Bath, NY. He was the son of the late Frank Strzepek and the late Edwinna (Strzepek) Krause. He was a kind, faithful, and honest man who will be greatly missed by his family. He dedicated his life to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, our Lady of Fatima, and his family. He also served as an usher in Saint Casimir's Church. He was disabled/retired from Southport Correctional Facility. He was predeceased by his parents Frank Strzepek and Edwinna (Strzepek) Krause, his brother Keith Krause, and his nephew/Godson Kevin Campbell. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 37 years, Kazimiera (Kurnik) Strzepek, his two daughters: Maria (Shane) Clark of Elmira and Valerie Strzepek of Horseheads; three granddaughters: Mackenzie, Alexis, and Alyssa Clark of Elmira; two sisters: Evelyn (David) Senecal of Albany, NY, Gloria (Glen) Campbell of Land O Lakes, FL, and several cousins scattered across the U.S. The family extends their gratitude to Dr. Alan Angell and to all the wonderful people of Elcor who cared for Stanley throughout the years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kalec Funeral Home on Friday, June 16th at 9 a.m. for a prayer service followed by his Mass of Christian Burial in St. Casimir's Church, 1012 Davis Street, Elmira at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Bath , NY. Stanley will be laid to rest alongside his father, mother, and brother.

To Stan's girls, I am so sorry for your loss. Hopefully happy memories will get you through this difficult time along with knowing that any suffering he may have been going through is over now. The loving husband and father that you remember is now watching over all of you in Heaven. <3
