LYONS – Ted F. Salisbury, 66, of Gannett Rd., passed away on Tuesday (June 13, 2017) at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday (June 19) at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St. Lyons. Other services will be private with burial in Lock Berlin Cemetery at a later time and date.
For those wishing, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to your charity of choice in his memory.
Ted was born November 21, 1950 in Clifton Springs, a son to the late Robert W. and Lee Knapp Salisbury of Phelps, N.Y. He retired from the Wayne County Sheriff's Department in Lyons after 29 years of service. His favorite activities were his "children", horses Penny and Bo, motorcycles, and especially driving his car in recent years.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; and stepdaughter, Sue Mendel of Lyons; brother, Thomas (Theresa) Salisbury of W. Palm Beach, Fla.; sisters Roberta George of Webster, N.Y. and Laurel Hoberg of Sweden; brothers-in-law Bill George of Webster, N.Y. and Philip Williams of Skaneateles, N.Y.; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents; brother, David Salisbury; and sister, Linda Williams.
