Minda Brown Obituary

GRATIS — Minda Brown, age 74, of Gratis, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was born in Gratis, on Aug. 2, 1942 to Marcus D. and Mary V. (Cummins) Bratton.

She was a graduate of Gratis High School and had worked for Baxter Laboratories for 20-plus years, retiring in 1992.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Mary) Brown, Camden, Mitchell (Beth) Brown, Gratis; sisters, Linda Creech, Lewisburg, Cinda Hamm, Gratis; four grandchildren, Derrick Brown, Mandy Brown, Alexis Brown, Justin Brown; two great-grandchildren, Kadin and Bub.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Denzil "Bubby" Bratton and Marcus Paul Bratton and companion, Kenneth "Garbo" Thomas.

Funeral services will be held noon Friday, July 7, 2017, at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until noon. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis. For condolences: www.lindloffzimmerman.com.
