August 15, 2017
Macon, GA- Michelle Wallace, 44, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 following injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born in Macon, Georgia on February 7, 1973 during the winter storm of the century, Michelle graduated from Peach County High School with the Class of 1990. She attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Valdosta State University and was a much-loved Registered Nurse at Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon. Michelle loved the Lord, grew up attending Byron Baptist Church, and was most recently a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Scrapbooking and having professional photographs of her children was her passion, evidenced by the "Library Of Their Lives" in pictures. Michelle never missed the activities of her children attending all band performances. She loved traveling with her children and exploring all the sites while always striving to give them what they wanted. Michelle served others often at the expense of time for herself.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Laverne Bridger; her maternal grandfather, William F. "Bill" Smith; and her uncles, Johnny Carver, Darren Hamilton, and Greg Smith.
Michelle leaves her memory behind with her loving children, Kaylynn and Abigail Wallace of Byron; her parents, Pam and Bennie Carver of Byron; her sister, Tina Smith (Adam) of Kathleen; nephews, Ryan and Aiden Smith; grandparents, Dan and Shirley Hamilton of Byron; and aunts, Patty Harvard (Hank), Deena Youngblood (Stanley), and Linda Crosby (Ron).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19th at Byron Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the service, Michelle will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Dearest Kaylynn and Abigail Wallace -
I had the honor of working with your mom at the Endoscopy Center at Navicent Health.
She spoke of you two often. She loved you so much. I find peace in her passing because she loved the Lord with all of her heart. I am sad that I will not see her smiling face and get that special early morning "work hug" again. I feel blessed to have known her and I do know that we will see each other again in beautiful heaven. May you find comfort in knowing that your mother will watch over you every earthly second in each minute of every hour each day. With deepest sympathy Laura
