I found out you passed away when I was in jail... not the ideal place to be ever, but at least I was sober when I found out and couldn't go try to use to hide the pain. I was so mad at myself for not coming with you when you asked me to, the last time I came home to Louisville. I still think of you frequently and fondly. I know you're with us all, and I hope and pray your family finds comfort and peace in knowing that you touched so many lives and impacted so many daily. Thinking of you often,

Every time I saw Ryan I thought to myself what a lovely handsome young man. Now I learn even more from his family and friends what a great person he truly was. I know my sister and Austin always spoke so highly of Ryan and enjoyed his company.
My deepest sympathy for Clark, Sherrie, and the
entire family. May your strong faith get you through each day.

Praying for Ryan's family. While I didn't know Ryan or his family, I know the heartache you face and also the hope found in Christ. Beautiful words you have shared about your son... in the end, when all is said and done, Christ wins. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Clark and Sherrie, I know there is nothing I can say to take away the pain from the loss you are both experiencing. Ryan was such a good kid. He will forever have a place in my heart. The several years I was able to meet with him, work out with him and pour into him were some of my favorite times. He will be missed. I look forward to sitting down and catching up with him in heaven!
