ELGIN - Marie K. Wittrock, 93, of Elgin, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Vines at Countryside. She was born on June 2, 1924 in Chicago the daughter of Anthony & Josephine (Di Caro) Favaro. Marie is survived by her four children: David (Mary Bloemke) Wittrock, Deborah (Steve) Winger, Curtis (Jeanne Pye) Wittrock and Donna (Robert) Kaup. Other survivors include her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ernest E. Wittrock , a son in infancy, Ernest Jr., and 1 brother and 1 sister. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 Division St., Elgin. Burial will be private in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Vines at Countryside Senior Homes, 971 Bode Rd., Elgin, IL 60120 or Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 Division St., Elgin, IL 60120.
