Thomas Porter Stepovich

Resident of Aptos
Tom passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the age of 74 after a brief illness. A native of Saratoga, he moved to Aptos in 1997.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Patty; his son Greg (Susie) and his sister, Marcia, as well as his happy companion Duffy, his scottish terrier. Additionally He leaves his four sisters-in law, Nancy Buoy, Colleen Brunetti Kathleen Moore and Judy Nielsen (Stan). Tom also leaves numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tom and Patty enjoyed traveling and over the years visited most of Northern Europe, the Caribbean and the United States. As Tom got older he looked forward to watching his favorite team, the 49ers, reading extensively and challenging himself with difficult crossword puzzles. Another of his favorite past times was having long conversations over coffee with his son Greg.
A Funeral Mass for Tom will be held at Holy Eucharist Catholic Community, 527 Corralitos Road, Corralitos on Nov. 3rd at 1:00pm, followed by a reception, to be announced. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to: Watsonville Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 282, Watsonville, CA 95077 or a charity of your choice. Mehl's Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
