MASON, Mark J. Of North Attleboro, formerly of Lexington, passed away peacefully while vacationing on Cape Cod, October 25, 2017. Beloved son of Barbara E. Mason of Westwood and the late Edward A. Mason. Loving brother of Thomas E. Mason and his wife Anne of Houston TX, Kathleen M. Podolski and her husband Charles of Dedham, Paul D. Mason and his wife Joyce Larson of Medfield, Anne M. Ford and her husband Timothy of Hamilton, and Mary Beth Johnson and her husband Eric of Wilton CT. Mark also left behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 30, at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High Street, Dedham. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 420 High Street, Dedham on Tuesday, October 31 at 10 a.m. Family and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery. I am so sorry for your loss. May it comfort you to look ahead to the time you will see your loved one alive again. Until that happy day, much strength can be gained by pouring out your deepest emotions to God in prayer.

I was so sorry to see this in the paper today. Mark and I graduated from Lexington High together. We lost touch over the years. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
