Timothy D. Wiggins
DUNCAN, SC-- Mr. Timothy D. Wiggins, 56, crossed over to eternal life on October 27, 2017.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, George and Mamie Ruth Wiggins; uncle, Otis Rice; and brother-in-law, Joel Roberson.
He is survived and remembered by: his loving wife, Cheryl M. Wiggins of Duncan, SC; stepsons, Samuel Smith and wife Cassie of Greer, SC, Michael Dietrich and wife Autumn of Ephrata, WA; step grandchildren, Gracie and Trevor Dietrich of Ephrata, WA; sister, Pamela P. Roberson of Boiling Springs, SC; brothers, T. Keith Wiggins, Sr. and wife Alisa of Suanee, GA, and Kenneth R. Wiggins and wife Katrina of Charlotte, NC; uncle, Herbert L. Rice of Spartanburg, SC; nieces and nephews, Exdelon (Kaytee) and Cherilon Roberson, George Wiggins, II and T. Keith Wiggins, Jr., Terrell and Jermell Beatty; and numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends, including his close friend and a brother from other parents, Jeffrey Scurry.
Timothy was a life-long member of Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church where he served as a Boy Scout Explorer Leader and Usher.
Tim attended Spartanburg High School and received both his Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from Limestone College. He was employed by Grainger, Inc.; but, from a very early age he had been and continued to be an entrepreneur. He was a published poet, and he created and owned several businesses from security, landscaping, custodial, a family run Deli, and most recently he had established KreteKut, a concrete cutting company.
Tim had a strong constitution and a quick wit. He was the rock and the glue that held his family together. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Tim was included in his extended family and benefitted from his counsel and concern.
Although they had been together for eight years prior, Tim and Cheryl started their life as husband and wife in January 2016, built a new home, and were looking forward to rocking on their front porch and growing old together. He now saves a place for her on the other side.
Services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, 778 John B. White Sr. Blvd., Spartanburg, SC. Interment will follow in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC.
In lieu of flowers, Tim would appreciate donations be made to The Spartanburg County Foundation, 424 E. Kennedy St., Spartanburg, SC with funds designated to feed hungry children.

Cheryl, I cannot express condolences that would be sufficient to help the loss you are feeling. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying that the love of family and friends will give you strength. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Tim, but I know if you loved him he must have been a very special person. I hope in the days to come the loving memories you have of him bring you some measure of comfort.
