De Moulin Jr, James S. "Jimmy"

Jimmy passed away on November 2, 2017, with his family by his side, from complications from Diabetes. He was born on February 28, 1965. He graduated from De Pere High School in 1984. On October 30, 1993, he married Barbara Koop.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara and his daughter, Jenna and special friend, Erik; parents, Jim and Marlene (Hettmann) De Moulin; siblings, Sue Kirtland, Bobbi (Rick) Regnier, Joel (Kelly) De Moulin and Mary Giese, Barbara's family; Mike (Suzie) Koop, Mary (Jack) Fairchild, John (Sherry) Koop and Jeff Koop; his godparents, Larry and Tootie De Moulin; nieces and nephews, Scott (Liz), Chad (godson), Nick, Jack, Jake (godson), Paige, Matty, Kendall, Chase, Beck, Kevin (Maggie), Sara (Aaron), Brian (Laura), Elizabeth (Scott), Kelly (Tim) and Amy (Andy). Jim is further survived by several great nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents-in-law, Gene and Cor Koop; brother-in-law, Joe Koop; sister-in-law, Kathy Koop; niece, Aly Giese; and good friend, Jim Pahl.

Jimmy had a passion for construction, hunting and cars. He enjoyed the companionship from his dogs, Kooper and Louie. He was very proud to see his daughter, Jenna graduate from Marquette University. Spending time with his nieces and nephews brought him great joy and they all adored him. Although Jimmy will be greatly missed, there is comfort in knowing he will no longer be in pain.

Family and friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St. De Pere on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 2 to 5:30pm, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 6pm at the church with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
