Gritter, Mildred Mildred Gritter, age 96, passed away on Thursday, November 9. She is now home with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross for her sins. She is survived by her sister Betty Eesley of Hendersonville, NC; sister-in-law Marjorie of Grand Rapids; and a group of nieces, nephews, and special friends. Mildred worked as a secretary. She was a charter member of Boston Square Christian Reformed Church where she held the positions of church secretary, Sunday School superintendent, and member of the Christian Education committee and worked on the Boston Square newsletter. A memorial service will be held at Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton SE, on Saturday, November 18, at 2:00 PM with Pastors Jay Blankenspoor and Elizabeth Vander Haagen. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM. Burial will be at Rosedale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boston Square Church Mission Fund.

We had such good times with the Gritter family. cracking nuts...playing ROOK...going to Wolf Lake! She will be missed.

Mil was a great friend of the Goote family, and we are grateful for her longtime involvement with Emily, who treasured her visits. We thank God for her, and will keep the memories of many good times.

I worked with Millie almost 50 years ago at Zondervan in the late 60's. She was a great person. Now she is at home with the Lord she loved and served.
