Terry L. Goforth
Clearwater, FL - Terry L. Goforth, age 62, passed away November 9th, 2017.
He was born in Asheville and moved to Largo, FL in 1969. He worked as a home health aid, caring for the sick and elderly, before contending with a disabling heart condition. He was a Christian and attended St. Matthew's in Florida.
In addition to being a caring brother, loving husband and devoted father, Terry was an avid fisherman occasionally featured in the St. Petersburg Times. He loved country music and was a great friend to animals, especially his adopted cat, Max.
He is survived by his brother, Bruce, sister-in-law, Joyce, wife Cecilia, mother-in-law Lily and son Harrison. Preceding him in passing are his elder brother Kenneth and parents Frank and Paralee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 455 Hollywood Road, Fairview, NC 28730.
Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Steve Hensley at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 455 Hollywood Road, Fairview, NC 28730.
