A Celebration of the Life of Walter Gerald Byrd will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Ron Henderson will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the home, 351 Textile Rd., Apt. 59, Spartanburg, SC.

Byrd was a great co-worker. He was always helpful. A talented man, he loved assembling things. We frequently called on him at work to redo our failed attempts at engineering. i will miss his positive attitude and easy going ways. Rest in peace, my friend. May God bless the family.
