Joanna - I did not get to know your dad very well, but the time that I was around him, he was 'the perfect gentleman,' and so very friendly. He was my sister-in-law's "compadre" (Becky Dominguez Gomez). When my cousin, Amparo, was ill, one could not have asked for a better care-giver. I thank our Lord for the short time that they were together. A huge part of her heart will grieve him for a long time--the same as you will. I hope that you and your family will continue being part of her life! Know that all of you are in my prayers. Finally, I know the Angels were his guide, as they led him into Paradise and took him Home to the New Jerusalem. May our Lord bring you and your family the love and comfort that you need during this time.
