Robert Thrall Obituary

Robert "Bob" H. Thrall, 68, loving father of Jeff Thrall and Jennifer Thrall Ballsieper; also loving grandfather of Cheyenne, Sierra, Shania Ballsieper and Abigail and Emma Thrall, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at Florida Hospital.

He was born on Dec. 4, 1948, in Manchester, son of the late Elmer and Shirlie (Chagnon) Thrall. The second of four boys, Bob graduated from Manchester High School in 1967. He was dedicated to the family school bus business and an active member of the Elks (Manchester) and the Eagle (Ormand Beach, Florida) where he enjoyed a few beers, lots of laughs, and friends that could never be replaced.

In addition to his grandchildren he is survived by his brother; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; as well as beloved cousins and close childhood friends.

As he joins his parents and two brothers and some great friends he's lost along the way, let's raise our glass, think of your fondest memory and cheers to our Dad your friend Bob.

Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester, on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. An Elks Ritual will follow immediately at 2 p.m.

I remember Bob from many years ago. I always enjoyed talking to him-He was so respectful. I'm sure he is getting welcomed by my late husband Andy Doll. I hope they don't get in to much trouble! My heart goes out to all he leaves behind.

Bob was a great support during a difficult time in my life, and challenged me to grow, which led me to a nursing career. A good man, fondly mentioned by my daughters whenever childhood memories are recalled. I never see or hear "kiss" without thinking of Bob, his kids and Henry street. My condolences to his family and friends
