HANSEN, Carol Carol Jean Hansen, 84, of Lancaster, Texas, passed away in the afternoon of November 29th, 2017, at Palomino Place extended care in Mesquite, Texas. Born October 8, 1933 in Duncanville Texas to the late Enoch and Lois Shaw. Raised in Hutchins, Texas and later moved to Lancaster, Texas where she attended Jr. High and High School. She was a member of the Cold Springs Church of Christ in Lancaster, Texas. Married to Howard Hansen, one day shy of 57 years, until his death on February 13, 2010. Survived by daughter Denise & husband Tony Rice of Rockwall, Texas. Sister Vivian Beard of Wimberly, Texas. Grandson Scott & wife Cassie Rice of Leander, Texas. Great Grandchildren Easton & Ellie Rice of Leander, Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8PM, December 1, 2017 at Byrum Funeral Home, 425 N. Dallas Ave. Lancaster, TX 75146. Funeral Service will be held at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00PM, December 2, 2017, with Minister Mark Hancock officiating.
