MULLEE
Mary Kathleen "Kate". Passed away surrounded by family on December 3, 2017 at the age of 68 as the result of a degenerative neurological disease. Beloved daughter of the late Robert D. and Ruth (Heekin) Mullee. Also preceded in death by great-niece Emme Ann Applebaum. Loving sister of Pat Mullee, Norah (Marty) Miller, Mary Applebaum, Lucy (Michael) Smith, Michelle Mullee (Steve Kappers), and Mike (Molly) Mullee. Survived by 28 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and great nephews. Also survived by Judy (Dewey) Mullee and lifelong friend and cousin Jeanne Althaus. Kate was an active member of Christ the King Parish for many years and served as a volunteer CCD teacher. Kate spent many volunteer hours with Matthew 25 Ministries. Following her graduation from Marian High School, Kate had a career in early childhood daycare, senior services, and spent the bulk of her career serving the Ursuline Sisters at St. Ursula Academy in East Walnut Hills. Visitation on Saturday, December 9, 2017 in the East Foyer of St. Ursula Academy from 9:30 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of St. Ursula Academy, 1339 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Kate will be remembered always for her kind, gentle and faithful spirit. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ursulines of Cincinnati, Inc., 1339 East McMillan Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206; Our Lord Christ the King Church Social Action Commission, 3223 Linwood Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45226; or a charity of your choice. Kate's family would like to thank Dr. Jason Graff and the staff of The Christ Hospital Physicians Health and Aging Center for the compassionate care they showed Kate and our family.
