Beloved son of the late Walter and Mary (nee McGinty) dear husband of the late Dolores (nee Valan); loving father of Patricia Demy, Kathleen O'Malley (Philip Notestine, deceased) Martin Michael (Lisa) and Daniel Patrick (Donna); dear grandfather of Kathleen Elizabeth Demy, Heather O'Malley, David and Ryan Malone; great-grandfather of 3; brother of Patrick (deceased), Mary R. Repenning, Kathleen Landreth (deceased), Walter (deceased) and Charles (Barbara). Graduate of Fenn College and Tri-C College. Passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. Funeral Mass Tuesday, December 12 St. Colman Church 2027 W. 65th St. at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE 25620 CENTER RIDGE RD. (WEST OF COLUMBIA) MONDAY 4-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Colman Church or Crossroads Hospice. A special thanks to Brookdale–Clairbridge Staff and Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful care.

I remember the handsome couple with all the kids in the back of the station wagon and me and my sister sitting on the curb waiting anxiously for our new neighbors to move in. It was love at first sight and they were Irish Catholics to boot! They were a blessing BEST NEIGHBORS EVER! Florence has waited a long time for Marty the love of her life TOGETHER AT LAST and all of Heaven is Rejoicing! We will truly miss our Dear friend Marty. I am so sorry to hear of Marty's passing.He certainly made our days at St.Pat's food pantry with his stories and wit.My sincere sympathy to his family,Marty was one of a kind. Marty will be missed. He was a great story teller. Enjoyed listening to the stories he told when he voluntered with Sheila and I at the food bank at St Pat's. He made our day enjoyable.
