I worked with Dallas back in the mid-70's for the Department of Conservation, he worked for Wildlife Resources and I worked for the Division of Fisheries at the 100 W. Washington Street location, Dallas worked upstairs and I worked on the main floor, it was an old building that housed three offices within the agency. I also thought his name was unique and appreciated him as an employee with the State of Illinois. So sorry to learn of his passing so young, may he rest in peace with our Lord Jesus. I'll keep him and your family in my prayers.

So sorry to hear of Dallie's passing. Commuted to SIU with he and several others and remember Oyster, the dog, and Betsy trying to get him up to go to school. Great guy and much fun, kind of lost contact with his move to Clinton but have many fond and funny memories over the years. I wouldn't have known if not Pastor Chris mentioned in on her Facebook. Sincere condolences, he will be missed.
