Ruth A. Magee

AUGUSTA - Ruth A. Magee, 80, of Augusta passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. She was born in Framingham Mass. on June 5, 1937, the daughter of George and Annette (Howard) Lumbert.
Ruth graduated from Natick High School (Mass.) in 1955. She retired from Central Maine Power Company in Augusta. She was a former member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls and Eastern Star of Westboro Mass. chapters.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 61 years in marriage, Gerald L. Magee; her daughter Suzanne M. Woodworth and her husband Daryl T. Woodworth and their daughter Sheryl A. Woodworth of York, a daughter Deborah L. Magee of Dover, N.H., and daughter Karen V. Hinds and her husband Thomas W. Hinds, of Augusta, and their children Stephanie Hinds of Hallowell and Gabriel Hinds of Ft. Meyers, Fla.
A service of remembrance will be held in the Spring of 2018.
