HUNLOCK CREEK — Anna M. (Sinkiewicz) Sherfield, 76, of Hunlock Creek, passed away at home Dec. 21, 2017, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 30, 1941, in Plymouth, a daughter of the late Martin and Alvina (Yanik) Sinkiewicz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Richard Sherfield; brothers Robert, Daniel, Leonard, Joseph and Bernard; sisters Dorothy Amendolo, Irene Novitski, Eleanor Sternik and Marie Selner.
Surviving are her children, Paul R. Sherfield Jr., of Morresville, N.C.; Mary Ann Bond, of Pringle; Linda Reakes, of Hunlock Creek; grandchildren Melissa A. Kennedy, of Hunlock Creek; Lawrence P. Reakes Jr., of Hunlock Creek; Marlinda M. Reakes, of Hunlock Creek; David A.M. Bond, of Uniontown; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 10 until 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at the Clarke Piatt Funeral Home Inc., 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek, followed by a blessing service at 11 a.m. with Father Alex Roche officiating.
Interment will be private at St. Casimir's Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
