Randy L. Myers
BUSHNELL - Randy L. "Bowser" Myers, age 62, of Bushnell, IL, passed away at 8 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb, IL.
He was born on January 11, 1955, in Canton, IL, to Paul and Bonnie Blevins Myers.
He is survived by Melissa Ludwig, his partner in life with whom he made his home; 1 daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Corron of Dunlap, IL; 1 grandson, Bozeman Corron; 1 brother, Lonnie (Julie) Myers of Canton, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Allan and Tim Myers.
Randy retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of service and he owned Bowser's Place in Bushnell, IL. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin, fishing on Spoon River, gardening, playing shuffleboard, where he participated in several leagues, and he also enjoyed his time with family and friends.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell, IL. Later, on January 12, 2018, there will be a celebration of life at Bowser's in Bushnell, IL, at 6 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
