James Wayne McClellan
Indianapolis - James Wayne McClellan 89, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2018. James was born on March 11, 1928 to Joseph and Florence McClellan of Greenwood, Indiana. He worked as a painter with International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Local #47 from 1965-1992. James is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Patricia F. McClellan, his 2 sisters, Joyce Nichols and Pat Hall, his 6 children: James Wayne McClellan II, Patricia Faye McClellan Ellis, Randall Allen McClellan (Pam), Cynthia Sue McClellan Coleman, Steven Keith McClellan, Debra Frances McClellan Lant (Eugene). He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren: James III, Michael, Daniel, Melissa, Derrek, Emily, Matt, Mandy, Jenifer, Angela, Jacob, Alisha, Keith, Kristine, Kathrine, Kevin, 28 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Visitation for James will begin at 4pm - 8pm on Friday February 2, 2018 Funeral services will begin at 11:00am Saturday February 3, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South SR #135 Greenwood, IN 46143. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery immediately following the funeral services. Flowers will be cheerfully accepted however, should you wish to donate in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to Good Shephard UMC (in memory of James McClellan) at 2015 South Arlington Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
