BENNINGTON - Joseph A. Colliano, 91, of North Truro, Massachusetts, a Bennington native. died Sept. 27, 2017, in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, after a long illness.
He was born March 26, 1926, the son of Gaetano and Rosa (Melise) Colliano.
He graduated from St. Joseph Business College in Bennington.
Mr. Colliano and his life partner, Willis C. "Bill" Hastings, started a pottery business known as Jobi in Cape Cod, where they later managed Highland House Hotel and Museum in the 1960s.
He enjoyed painting, dancing and playing the piano.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his partner in 2002; and six siblings Madeline Bronson, Joanna Brown, Helen Horton, Mary Young, Rocco and Samuel Colliano.
Private funeral service was held in North Truro.
