Louis G. D'Agostino
Lewes - Louis G. D'Agostino passed away February 12, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Louie was born in Wilmington, DE on August 22, 1935 to the late Josephine and Luigi D'Agostino. He worked for DiSabatino Construction and Mr. Fred Gooding before joining Delmarva Power & Light.
Louie was known for his quick wit, engaging personality, and carpentry skills. He enjoyed many activities including bowling, golf, tennis, swimming, crabbing, gardening, and going to local casinos. Most of all Louie enjoyed spending time with family.
Louie is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Nicolina (Mickey) A. (Episcopo) D'Agostino; his daughter Tracey; his son Lou and his partner Lynn; and his grandchild Avery. Louie is survived by his brothers Sam D'Agostino, Robert DiDonato and his wife Dorothy, Thomas DiDonato and his wife Doreen, and Albert DiDonato; and his sisters, Fanny Marando, Josephine Pepe and her husband Joe, and Yolanda Sweeney. Louie is also brother to the late David DiDonato, Martha Macgregor, Frances Palumbo, Lena Collins, Pat DiDonato, Clara Tribuiani, and Rose Cammack.
A Noon Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16th 2018, at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 809 S. Broom St. Wilmington DE 19805. A viewing will begin at 11am. Entombment to follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
