Russel L. Racine, 76, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
Russel was born in Griffin, Indiana on September 29, 1941 to the late Max and Alma Jean (Blythe) Racine. He enjoyed racing sprint cars, listening to country music, and dancing. Russel loved working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren.
Russel is survived by his significant other, Tammy Embry of Evansville, IN; sons, Tony Racine (Starla) and Tim Racine (Donna) both of Evansville, IN; step-children, Nicole, Michelle, Ashley, and Ethan; grandchildren, Crystal (Jon), Tiffany (Sean), Morgan (Kody), Emma, Ian, Aiden, Kricket, Kenzie, Caden, Madison, Zachary, Jacob, and Breanna; and great-grandchildren, Camden, Carsyn, Keaton, Collier, Faith, Addyson, Karter, Hadley, and Sadie.
Russel was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alberta Matlock; and a grandson, Aaron.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery Ft. Branch, IN.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 12:00 PM until service time on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

I just heard of Russ' passing. I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed seeing Russ at the track, and watching him race.
