ST. CHARLES - Virginia L. Yeck, age 57, passed away February 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Donald and Joyce Starck in Elgin Illinois. She graduated from Dundee H.S. in 1978. She attended Elgin Community College. Virginia was a secretary for the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church and the St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She was a gifted violinist and was concert mistress of the Judson College Community Orchestra. She is survived by her son Matthew Yeck, mother Joyce Starck, sister Tamara (Julio) Hernandez, former husband William. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Starck. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 23, 2018 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 E. Main Street, St. Charles, IL 60174. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, St. Charles, IL. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to JourneyCare Hospice, in Barrington, IL.
